St. Louis Pedestrian Accident Lawyer: Hit & Run Trend in Late February

Another hit-and-run car accident in St. Louis this weekend sent shock waves through the city. Last Thursday, a 62 year-old woman was walking her dog near Tower Grove Park when she was struck by an allegedly intoxicated driver who fled the scene. She remains in critical condition. Luckily, the police have apprehended a suspect.

Saturday night, another woman was the victim of a hit and run this weekend in Midtown. She was alone as she exited a nightclub and crossed the street. An unidentified driver in a car with no current description struck and killed her. There were no witnesses to help police fill in the details. The fatal pedestrian accident happened at Grand and Montgomery.

Unfortunately, this intersection is apparently of very unsafe design. Just this January, two other women were struck and killed at the same intersection.
